When do I need a Medical?
Medicals are required prior to being sent on your first SOLO flight. We recommend you obtain the appropriate medical for your course, CLASS 1 Commercial Pilot, Class 2 for Private Pilot, as early as possible. This way you are already approved fit prior to reaching the requirements for Solo flight.
The CLASS 1 is renewed every 12 Months
The CLASS 2 is renewed every 4 years till age 40 and then every 2 years.
