Night VFR in Melbourne
A night rating added to your Private Pilot Licence will allow you to depart before first light or arrive after last light in VMC. The minimum requirements for a Night VFR Rating are:
✈ 10 hours of flight time at night, including
✈ at least 2 hours in the circuit of which one hour solo and
✈ at least 5 hours cross country flight
On meeting the required standards a NVFR test will be booked and on successful completion of the flight test you will be issued with a NVFR Rating.
